eSIM for Trips

Your carrier charges by the day. We charge once.

North American carriers sell European roaming as a daily pass — and the meter runs every day of your trip. Here is the same 7-day trip to Ireland & the UK, priced honestly.

AT&T International Day Pass

$12 per day, per line — auto-activates on first use abroad

7-day trip
$84
14-day trip
$168

Each additional line on the same account: $6/day.

Verizon TravelPass

$12 per day, per line — a single incoming text can trigger a full day

7-day trip
$84
14-day trip
$168

5 GB high-speed per day, then reduced speeds.

T-Mobile (most plans)

Slow data included (256 Kbps after 5 GB); calls $0.25/min

7-day trip
$0 + per-minute calls
14-day trip
$0 + per-minute calls

Full-speed data needs a pass: $35 / 10 days. 60 minutes of calls = $15.

The catches worth knowing

  • Day passes start themselves.

AT&T and Verizon day passes activate on the first use on a foreign network — and “use” includes a background email sync or a single incoming text from your bank. One stray message can cost a full $12 day. The fix if you keep your home SIM in the phone: turn off data roaming on that line.

  • “Included” T-Mobile data is slow data.

Most T-Mobile plans include international data — at 256 Kbps after the first 5 GB. That handles messaging, but maps, photos and ride-hailing crawl. Full-speed data is a separate pass ($35 for 10 days), and ordinary calls are $0.25/min — an hour of calls to hotels and rental desks adds $15.

  • A day pass still uses your home plan’s limits.

The $12/day buys access to your domestic allowance — it is not extra data. Hit your home cap abroad and the same throttling or top-up fees apply, on top of the daily charge.

  • A prepaid eSIM has no meter.

One payment before you fly. The data, minutes and validity are printed on the plan page — nothing auto-activates, nothing renews, and there is no bill waiting at home.
